Day 1

Depart the USA to Cape Town via Johannesburg.

Day 2

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to the City Lodge Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Accommodations for two nights inclusive of breakfast daily.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Choose between a Full Day Tour of the Winelands, a Tour of the Cape Peninsula or the Walk to Freedom Tour which includes a 3-hour cruise and tour of Robben Island.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls via Johannesburg. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Accommodations for two nights inclusive of breakfast and dinner daily. The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is about 2.5 miles from Victoria Falls and is situated on a plateau that forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a full day at leisure to enjoy the splendors of Victoria Falls and the surrounding area. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Days 6 through 9

After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to the airport for your charter flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp for a 5 NIGHT WALKING BUSHCAMP SAFARI. Accommodations for five nights inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner and all activities. Spend the first 2 nights of your Luangwa Encounter at Chamilandu. After an early breakfast on Day 3, set off towards Chindeni arriving in time for a hearty brunch.

Spend 2 nights at Chindeni viewing game from your own private raised wooden decking over the still waters of the lagoon. Walk south once more, towards the confluence of the Kapamba and Luangwa rivers to Bilimungwe Bush Camp, the southernmost camp in the National park where you will spend your last evening. Bilimungwe's permanent water hole is a popular venue for wildlife and the shallow clear Kapamba River offers the perfect setting to cool down, relax and reflect on the Luangwa encounter that you have just experienced.

Day 11

Transfer by air charter to either Lilongwe, Malawi or Lusaka, Zambia to connect with your scheduled flight to Johannesburg with onward connection aboard South African Airways to New York.

Day 12

Arrive Home.
