Two nights are spent in Victoria Falls village, to allow time to visit the Falls and perhaps also taste some of the soft-adventure for which it is world-famous.

This is followed by three days on safari with top professional guides in one of the country's best game lodges in Hwange National Park.

Day 1 : Arrive Victoria Falls. 2 nights, The Kingdom Hotel
Scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. Transfer to The Kingdom Hotel for 2 nights.

Optional tours available such as white-water rafting, canoeing, and game drives. Bed & Breakfast. This 294 bedroom resort hotel is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls themselves.

Built around a man-made water feature, it has a distinctive, characterful architecture, based on the Great Zimbabwe Monument in Masvingo. There is a food court, bars and an impressive casino.

Day 3 : 3 nights, Makalolo Plains Lodge, Hwange
½ hour road transfer to Victoria Falls airport, then ½ hour light aircraft flight to Makalolo Plains Lodge in Hwange. Makalolo Plains is the only tented camp inside the Hwange National Park, hidden in the tree line and overlooking a popular waterhole.

The nine luxury tents, constructed on raised platforms, are connected to the main lodge by a raised teak walkway, so that the path of game wandering underneath is not impeded!

 A small splash pool is set into the deck. All the tents have a private veranda and an outside shower as well as en suite facilities. Full Board and Game Activities.

Day 6 : Return to Johannesburg, via Victoria Falls
Transfer by light aircraft charter back to Victoria Falls and scheduled flight back to Johannesburg.
