| The Meet the People Tour, which originates in Mossel Bay, is a must. Ordinary folk are the stars of this tour that takes you from Mossel Bay's township area through the Outeniqua Foothills on rural roads not normally travelled by tourists. tcgrac You might meet Alfred who makes bricks, Millie who makes jam out of wild watermelons and rose petals, or Janneman, a paraplegic who makes leather handbags, or Tannie Pop who runs a local spaza shop, or the Munro family who have farmed wild oysters in the area since the 1800s. You will experience all aspects of local life as well as enjoy the stunning scenery, which make this area one of the most beautiful tours on the garden route.

From here we move into the spectacular Outeniqua Mountains to experience life in the rural area, the scenery on this part of the journey is stunning, and provides the opportunity to travel off the beaten track. Our journey takes us to the rural community of Friemersheim and Great Brak providing an opportunity to experience life there, before returning to Mossel Bay.
