Stephen,
We had a great time on our South Africa adventure. Had only one difficulty
which was with a delayed flight from Botswana Air which caused some
connection difficulties that British Airways didn't want to honor, but we
got through that ok. Also had some items stolen from a bag in transit from
Johannesburg to Zambia (I'm pretty sure it took place at security in
Johannesburg from some observation of what they did with our bags, but it
was no big deal).
The trip was great. We enjoyed all parts and four weeks was still not
enough to provide adequate down time. We especially enjoyed Kwando Lagoon
Camp in Botswana and the Tamarind Canoe Safari in Zimbabwe. The guides were
great. I was especially impressed with our canoe guide, Steve. In just two
days in Kwando we saw wild dogs, cheetah, leopard, jackal, hyena, a caracal
(sp?),giraffe, kudu, and tons of elephant, buffalo, and tons of other
smaller animals and birds too numerous to list.
The girls enjoyed all parts but we all agreed that the best part was
Botswana from the wildlife viewing perspective and next would be the canoe
safari from the experience perspective and adrenaline rush associated with
getting extremely close to submerged hippos and elephants, not to mention
the wildlife wandering through camp at night.
Your arrangements and transfers worked great. Although we had identified
much of where we wanted to go, I would not recommend to anyone to try to
arrange it all themselves. We appreciate all your efforts and have already
recommended you to others.

Hello,
Our trip was WONDERFUL. The canoe safari was one of the family Favorites.
Stev was THE BEST GUIDE of the trip. He was the most helpful and we thought he did the most to help if we needed anything. He knew everything, every animal, bird, the stars, how to cook!!!!! He is a wonderful cook. He knew the animals and how they would act.
We were extremly impressed with him.
When we got to Mana Pools he arranged a safari in a jeep from another Natureways person.
and had the tents set up. How nice.... I am not sure who got the tents set up, it was nice anyway...
He took us to the airport and stayed with us until the plane took off [Air Zim was early]
He also has lunch for us before we left, another plus.
Stev is a person to have on your staff, a real asset!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest of the trip...
Chobe, to touristy for us. The people were not as nice as they are in Vic Falls.
They seemed to expect to much for the tourist.
Kwandoo Lagoon Lodge..
VERY NICE, we saw lots of the animals that we wanted to see, wild dogs, giraffs, zibras,
again the stafff was wonderful.
If you know how to get in touch with Stev or Guy please give them our email, as we would like to let them know how happy we were.
If you want any other feed back on the our trip let me know. A Zambeze in Vic Falls was a very nice place to stay and the staff was the best of our trip. They did not want the girls to leave
Thank-you for returing my email.
Lynn
