Dear Stephen,
This is to let you know that our trip was fabulous.
We saw four of the big five at GOmoGomo and loved the place. It was good to be able to go off road to track the leopards and elephants otherwise our view would not have been that great. My sister was most reluctant since she had already been to a game park before we got there. She was very glad she went. It was a trip of a lifetime for my 80 year old Mom. Everyone took great care of her. We really loved Capetown and Tobie was superb! Thanks for doing everything on such short noitce. I'm glad I found your website on South Africa Tourism.
Our only disappointment has been our vat refund checks. We have not been able to cash them as it says not negotiable acroos the top which makes all the banks reluctant. My bank finally agreed to take it and not credit anything until they see what they get. My Mom's bank will charge her $75.00 to process the check which is only worth about 75.00. I also tried to cash them in Amsterdam and was told I have to use my own bank. Is the VAT thing a SCAM?
