Stephen: Here you go:
What a wonderful trip you facilitated. I'm still digesting aspects of it but this trip will be one of my all-time favorites. The Apartheid Museum in Jo-burg was definitely a must-see. I questioned the electricity free safari camp but was more than pleased. The animals, the food and the staff did not disappoint. Everything in and around Capetown was marvelous. All tours were on-time and very informative. All staff were more than helpful. _WHEN_ I return to South Africa I will definitely look to you for assistance. Thank you. SG
And, to answer your questions, I did make it to the market. It was interesting. I second guessed myself buying something there and regret it. Oh well. The trip home was a nightmare though. A SCREAMING child for 17 of the 25 hours in front of me with a mother that literally sat there and stared straight ahead. She wouldn't let anyone pick up the child either. Very weird. Glad I had my custom earmolds or I think I would have strangled her. Came back to a snowstorm in DC so a bit of a weather shock.
Hope all is well with you. Glad to have shared my birthday with you. Oh, I did get my pocket picked the last day I was there at the icecream stand that we went to. That's the first time I've ever had it successfully picked. The got about $50 US. I hope it went for something that they needed. Next years birthday is Patagonia. Safe travels. SG
