You can quote me in following:
We won a South African six day safari trip at a charitable auction but
Wedid not want to fly that long distance just for six days. I found Stephe Abelsohn and his South African tour company while searching the web.
We started e-mailing and exchanging phone calls. I told him that we wanted to fly business class and tour Cape Town, the cape area and Victoria Falls. I asked him for other suggestions.
He arranged great Business Class Air at a discounted price that easily beat American Express buy one,get one free ticket promotion.
He suggested several tour alternatives including different hotel accommodations. We went with his five star recommendations and still can not get over how wonderful those places were.
We truly know what five star means, especially in South Africa.
We were met at Cape Town airport by a young, energetic tour guide who waswith us for five days.
We then flew to George, S.A. and were met by another knowledgeable and personable guide for our four day Garden Route experience.
Lots to do, great scenery and sites and facilities. We had a lost piece of luggage when we departed our safari camp to Victoria Falls. This caused a day’s delay and an unscheduled evening in Johannesburg.
Stephan had given us local points of contacts who easily rebooked our scheduled tours. Victoria Falls was highlighted by a day trip to Chobe National park in Botswana.
The only downside to the trip was having to comply with the internal air luggage weight restrictions. We could have bought more stuff had we had the additional luggage.
Warm regards
Tom
