Safari Packages and Cultural Tours Samples

This section on Safaris for South Africa and Botswana will give  you  some ideas as to how to  create a 2010  World Cup packages for safaris.

There are so many different types of Safaris that I cannot give all of them here . What I have given below is some  samples of  what can be done. I have given some costs  and will add more packages as I get them , after  mid May  when the 2010 rates will  be all available.

A Africa safari is very much dictated  by your trip budget and interests. For 2010, space will be  a factor as well as to sqeeze in a 30 day odd space , so many people  into a Safari experience. So reserve early.

Many of the  camps/lodges in Botswana  and Zambia  are small and intimate, a wonderful way to do a safari.

Costs  to think about:

To get to  Victoria  Falls roughly about $220  one way .

Victoria  Falls  to CHobe  about  $65pp  one way by road transfer, and across the Zambezi river  by small boat.....fun hey !!!!!

Victoria  Falls  is only  a 90 minute drive to Chobe  National  Park, Botswana and is  a easy add on to  a  Botswana Safari. If  you have little  time  and not a larger  trip budget,  and want to do  the falls  and  a  safari, this is a great combination.

Ask me about Yawning  Hippo, a inexpesnive way to stay in Chobe.

Flights out of Botswana to Johannesburg   roughly $280  one  way .

Botswana camps  range  from $650 and up per  person per day. This is a all inlcusive rate  for all meals, most drinks, lodging, 2 x game drive per day in a open 4x4 vehicle, some camps offer laundry inlcuded as well, and some offer  in Botswana walks(small walks after the am game drive) makoros, and motorized  boats  to explore the Okavango  many deltas

Other  Botswana/Zambia costs are the  bush flights if you do not do  a mobile safari, and fly between camps, from $150  and up  depending on the  length of the segmant.

I know  Botswana quite well, so if Botswana is on your plan to do and experience list, I say well done , a good choice, then lets  talk  and I can create a trip for you that  can meets your  trip budget.

Flights for a Kruger  National Park Safari, out of Johannesburg  will be about $150 one way and up

I do Safaris  in  South Africa, Botswana  and Zambia.

There  are  different ways to do a Africa  safari :

1) Self  Drive into  Kruger  National Park ..generally cheapest

2) Escorted  Safaris for Kruger National Park ...leaves on a set itinerary   on a group basis.

3) Private Safari Lodges  in South  Africa  and Botswana

4) Houseboat safaris in Chobe  National  Park.

5) Overland  Camping safari through Botswana ie Okavango  Delta, Savuti, Chobe.

6) Tented safari options in Chobe National  Park.

7) Canoe  Safaris in Zambia , small lodge camps in Zambia, a river hot springs safari lodge, many options.

8) Walking safaris  in Kruger National Park South  Africa, Botswana and  Zambia

9) Private fly in private plane Safaris

and of course for the  adrenalin  folks amongst us..at Victoria  Falls  there is rafting the Zambezi river, bungy jumping, wake boarding in the river, etc...

as well elephant walks, lion walks, and some canoeing upstream

To help you plan a Safari, look at  this link I created  About  Safaris

Once you have read  that, then review the camps , costs  as given above and below for each camp, then look at the web site at the options for ideas , then with your trip budget available, and time left to travel contact me, and we  will talk.
