The Struggle - A Cultural and Historical Experience 2N Privately guided tour. Fly into East London, drive to the Palace of the current King , where we will be staying for 2 Nights in this rural village . Your lodging for the next 2N will be in a traditional style African bungalow designed in Western style with your own en suite bathroom, and Queen size bed. If he is available, you will may get a chance to meet with the King. Form this location we will wander around local villagers, experiencing local village life. As well we will visit the historic University of Fort Hare , see a local art gallery, past political archives from the ANC, PAC, and Steve Biko, as well as walking through this famous African University, where such leaders as Nelson Mandela, The present President Thabo Mbeki , and others were educated. We will have lunch at a local B and B, and on the way back we will visit Dimbaza township, a historic area from South Africas past history. 3rd day we will drive to Bishop, from where you will fly out, stopping along the way to visit Steve Bikos home, and if lucky a chance to meet Mrs Biko, his grave, and walk through a local shopping area for villagers, before proceeding to East London to fly out to tour next destination.
