We are launching the classic adventure trail. 3 Nights on a walking safari in Big 5 country combined with a visit to the Blyde River Canyon, a safari in Kruger and 2 nights on Inhaca Island on the Mozambique coast.

Bush and Beach Adventure

(7 Day 6 Night)
 
Day 1 – Friday: Travel on the Transfrontiers shuttle from Johannesburg to the bush pub meeting point where you will be introduced to your experienced ranger, your host for the next 3 nights. Travel t the tented camp for orientation and your first night in the African Bush. O/N TENTED CAMP (FB)
   
   Day 2 – Saturday: Your daily trail activities begin in the early hours with coffee and rusks and a walk under the guidance of your experienced armed ranger. After breakfast, cooked by your ranger, its time to relax in the heat of the day before the evening game walk or possible drive before dinner and overnight. O/N TENTED CAMP (FB)

Day 3 – Sunday: Same as per day 2. O/N TENTED CAMP (FB)

Day 4 – Monday: After the mornings activities you will meet your McFarlane Safaris ranger / guide and spend the afternoon traveling South via the Blyde River Canyon to arrive in Malelane in the evening where you will overnight at the beautiful Pestana Kruger Lodge on the banks of the Crocodile River. Day 5 – Tuesday: After breakfast we depart for Mocambique with border formalities at Lebombo / Rosana Garcia.

After a short introductory city tour we stop at one of Maputo’s famed bistro’s for a seafood lunch (own account) before check in at Maputo airport for the short flight to Inhaca and the Inhaca Island Resort. O/N PESTANA INHACA ISLAND RESORT (DBB)

 Day 6 – Wednesday: A day for you to fully enjoy the island and warm Indian Ocean waters.

Maybe a trip to Portuguese Island, a walk to te Marine Biological station, snorkeling trip or just lazing around the pool. The village adjacent to the lodge has several quaint traditional restaurants where one may enjoy more of the seafood Mocambique is famed for. O/N PESTANA INHACA ISLAND RESORT (DBB)

Day 7 – Thursday: Another morning to enjoy the island with a trip to Lighthouse Point or a walk to explore the mangroves. In the afternoon it’s a short flight to Maputo.

Day 8 – Friday: After breakfast transfer to Malelane to connect with the Bush Buszz luxury shuttle to Johannesburg.
