DAYS 1 TO 4: Kruger National Park

At Joburg Int. Airport you board your flight for KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga Int. Airport)
Here you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Mvuradona Game Lodge overlooking the Crocodile river and the Kruger National Park one of the continents premier game parks.

Sip sundowners overlooking the waterholes as the animals come to drink and lull yourself to sleep with the rhythmic sounds of cicadas and other nocturnal beasts as they stalk through the African bush.

Game drives provide guests with thrilling opportunities to view the 'Big Five' as well as a myriad of other flora and fauna in the Park. Activities during your stay at the beautiful Mvuradona Game Lodge include a full day game drive in the park, a game drive in Lionspruit and either a morning game walk or a night drive in the Kruger National Park.

 You also have the opportunity to partake in a local tour of your choice, such as the Barberton Gold-panning and Jewellery Tour, Matsoma Village Tour or the Endangered Species Tour.

DAYS 5 TO 9: The Bazaruto Archipelago  Marlin Lodge
Leaving the wonders of the bush behind us, our tour continues eastward into Mozambique with a short flight to Vilanculos, gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago.

 The accommodation is at Marlin Lodge. Each sea-facing chalet has a private patio with a walkway down to the sandy white beach. With several pristine reefs nearby the snorkeling and scuba diving are not to be missed. For the angler, the waters around the Bazaruto Archipelago offer some of the best Rock & Surf, Salt Water Fly and Game & Bill fishing in the world. Wind surfing, Catamaran Sailing, Ocean Ski Paddling, Kite Flying, Water-skiing and Para-sailing are amongst the many activities available.

Included in the tour is a trip on a traditional lateen rigged Dhow. Relax while gliding on the clear, calm sea whilst enjoying ice cold drinks and a breathtaking sunset over the lagoon. In addition to this our guide will take you on an informative and informal tour around the 11 x 5.5 kilometre island of Benguerra.

Experience a breathtaking view from a dune before a swim in the ocean. For the less energetic this is the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll along a deserted beach or simply relax next to the pool with a cool drink and let time fade away.
