These Outings range from 1 hour to six days or longer: tailor-made to your requirements.
The treks are usually about 7 hours each day. No riding experience is necessary.
The huts and horses are hired from the Basotho people in remote areas.
The huts are very basic and are equipped with a gas cooker, cooking and eating utensils,with mattresses on the floor.
On your trek you experience "THE REAL AFRICA".
The trails traverse spectacular mountain passes and some of Lesotho's highest waterfalls exploring Bushman paintings and experiencing "Basotho culture".
Basotho Guides and a packhorse accompany the treks.

TOUR 1
2 DAY HORSE TREK. (ROUGH & TOUGH)
1 night in a Basotho Village, 2 Nights at the Lodge.
Day 1
Arrive and Overnight at the Lodge with the option of a Basotho Children's Choir and local Band, using Homemade instruments to entertain you around the campfire. Comfortable Accommodation at the Lodge.
Day 2.
A 6 -7 hour Horse Trek through very remote areas to a Basotho Village, where you will overnight in a very basic Basotho Hut, experiencing village life.
Day 3
An early morning hike to the Ribaneng Waterfall, before returning to the lodge via a circular route. Overnight at the Lodge.

Tour 3 MALEALEA HORSE TREKKING & HIKING HOLIDAY. A TRUE BASOTHO ADVENTURE
Day 1 Your destination is the the Lodge at around 6,500 ft in the aptly named Valley of Paradise. A local Childrens' Basotho Choir and Band, using Home-made Instruments can be arranged for your entertainment.
(Guests to tip children) Accommodation at the Lodge.
Day 2 A Day Hike to a nearby Gorge that boasts Bushman Paintings done by the San nearly 500 years ago, and hike to the nearby Botsoela Waterfall. Accommodation at the Lodge.
Day 3 A 6 - 7 hour Horse Trek to the small village of Ribaneng. An Hours hike to the 100m Ribaneng waterfall. Basotho Village Hut Accommodation
Day 4 A 6 - 7 hour Trek over remote mountain passes to Ha Hlalele. A hike to view the Ketane Waterfall, 122m drop. Basotho Village Hut Accommodation.
Day 5 A 6 - 7 hour Trek to stay in a small Basotho village of Ha Sekoting, which is surrounded by a ring of mountains. Basotho Village Hut Accommodation.
Day 6 You descend into the Valley of Paradise, where you are welcomed with hot showers and the comforts of the Lodge.
Day 7 A hike to the Pitseng canyon, where a cascade of three rock pools has been carved out over the centuries.

Day 8 Depart from the lodge.
