Day 1 Depart New York or Atlanta

Depart New York or Atlanta on your overnight flight to Cape Town.


Day 2 Arrive Cape Town

Upon arrival in Cape Town today, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Cape Town

A half day tour of Cape Town shows you the city's highlights today. End with a visit to Table Mountain - a magnificent 700 million-year old block of shale which reaches a height of 3,549 feet. Return to your hotel around lunch-time where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 Cape Town

A full day at leisure gives you time to walk along Cape Town's beautiful waterfront and browse through the hundreds of shops. Or, we will be happy to arrange an optional tour of the Winelands or to Cape Point.

Day 5 Cape Town-Garden Route

This morning, fly to George where you will be met and transferred to your country lodge in the midst of South Africa's Garden Route. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy your lodge's picturesque surroundings. Overnight: Hunter's Country House

Day 6 Garden Route

With a full day at leisure, the options are endless. You might opt for a short sightseeing drive to nearby Plettenberg Bay – one of South Africa's most famous resorts. Or, perhaps a picnic lunch on a quiet beach. The grounds of your lodge provide a peaceful haven for relaxing or a leisurely stroll.

Day 7 Garden Route-The Bush

Transfer back to George for your short flight to Johannesburg. Here, connect to the light aircraft flight to Hoedspruit where a light aircraft will meet and transfer you to your lodge on a private game reserve. Later this afternoon, enjoy a game drive in open 4x4 vehicles.

Day 8 The Bush

Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives today. During the heat of the day, relax at the lodge – or perhaps take an optional nature walk.

Day 9 The Bush-Depart

Enjoy one final game drive before breakfast this morning. Then, your light aircraft flight transfer takes you back to Hoedspruit where you board the scheduled flight to Johannesburg. Here, connect to your overnight flight to the USA.

Day 10 Arrive USA

Arrive in New York or Atlanta early this morning.
