GOLDEN RHINO SAFARI

GOLDEN RHINO SAFARI

Out of the mist of the past, rises the newest National Park of South Africa - Mapungubwe, at the meeting point of South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Home of ancient civilization and birth place of the recent discovery of a Golden Rhino-statue which lay in a royal grave when Mapungubwe was abandoned by its king and people around the 1300's. Probably due to climatic change.
This exciting tour is new on the South African Safari calendar.TC AO

Day 02 After breakfast we depart north through scattered giant baobab trees and head for Mapungubwe Park where we visit Mapungubwe Hill, where the ancient king lived in seclusion from his people.
