A camping safari through four countries: Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. This tour gives a wonderful insight into the environmental diversity of Southern Africa. You will be amazed at the water-filled Okavango Delta with its abundance of wildlife, stunned by the harsh, Namib Desert and moved by the charming nature of the region's occupants.

Day 1
Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park, Botswana. We cross the Zambezi National Park into Chobe, which boasts an abundance of game. Chobe is also well-known as having the largest elephant populations in the world. [LD]
Day 2
Maun, Botswana. On our way to the Okavango Delta, we stop at its gateway - Maun. This dusty town, on the banks of the Thamalakane River, has been booming over recent years. [BLD]
Day 3-5
Makwena Lodge River Camp- Okavango Delta, Botswana. We explore the water pathways of the beautiful Okavango Delta. Glide past thick vegetation in mokoros (dugout canoes) and speedboat and admire the abundance of wildlife and birdlife. [BLD]
Day 6
Rundu and the Kavango River, Namibia. The Kavango/Caprivi region is Namibia's version of the Okavango Delta: lush waterways with prolific wildlife and lovely scenery. [BLD]
Day 7-9
Etosha National Park, Namibia. We take several game drives in this huge and famous game reserve. At all three camps, Namutoni, Okaukuejo and Halali you can swim or as the sun sets, watch animals drink at the floodlit waterhole. [BLD]
Day 10
Finger Rock, Petrified Forest, Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain, Namibia. A visit to the small German town of Outjo and an evening walk promises to find the Desert Elephants, the unique inhabitants of the area. [BLD]
Day 11
Desert Elephants and Brandberg (White Lady), Namibia. Marvel at the ancient San Bushmen's artwork in the Twyfelfontein Mountain. Later, see the famous "White Lady" rock painting in Brandberg. [BLD]
Day 12
Cape Cross Seal Colony and Skeleton Coast, Namibia. We see Africa's largest seal colony at Cape Cross - thousands of seals right up close, zoom lenses and binoculars will not be needed! Afterwards, we visit the eery shipwrecks on the atmospheric Skeleton Coast. [BL]
Day 13
Swakopmund, Namibia. We explore this quaint German town. Apart from all the things to see inside, there is a wealth of activities outside the town as well: sand boarding, quad hiking, skydiving and fishing - or dare to brave the icy sea! [BL]
Day 14
Namib Naukluft National Park and Kuiseb Canyon to Sesriem, Namibia. Explore the barren, sometimes rocky landscape of the oldest desert in the world and camp under the countless stars. [BLD]
Day 15
Sossusvlei, Namibia. At sunrise these red sand dunes, the world's highest, are spectacular. It is a sight you will never forget: being surrounded by a rippling sea of golden dunes as far as the eye can see...[BLD]
Day 16
Fish River Canyon and Hobas, Namibia. The second biggest canyon in the world is an awesome sight to behold - steep rock walls dropping half a kilometre into sheer oblivion. [BLD]
Day 17
The Orange River, Namibia. The Orange River is the border between South Africa and Namibia. Relax in the water that has supplied the region with its famous diamonds. [BLD]
Day 18
Canoeing on the Orange River, Namibia. The river provides of the top river experiences in Southern Africa. The only travelling today is done in a canoe. Put your feet up but mind the rapids though! [BLD]
Day 19
West Coast of South Africa and the Namaqualand Flowers, South Africa. If you are travelling during spring, you will see the spectacular carpets of wildflowers of the Namaqualand. At the Citrusdal Hot Springs we relax in the natural hot water! [BLD]
Day 20
Cedarberg Mountains / Cape Town, South Africa. A day drive through the mountains takes us to our last destination, Cape Town. We stop at the beach on the Atlantic Ocean to view Table Mountain across the bay. [BL]
