Cape Town Soft Adventures
These adventures range from mild to extreme according to the adrenaline fix needed!
QUADBIKING
Cape Town, South Africa is rated as one of the most beautiful cities in the world mainly due to its impressive natural environment. Nestled between mountains and oceans at the southern tip of Africa, it is inspiration to some of the world’s most unique and popular adventure activities.  By far the most exciting thing on 4 wheels, Quad Biking is a rush like no other. Whether you’re speeding through the obstacle course on the 6 speed “Blaster”, or taking it easy on one of the mellow courses with a manual “Breezer”, Quadding will knock your socks off!

The trails twist and wind through sand and bush, offering climbs, descents, technical sections and flat out straights.  Reaching speeds of up to 80 km per hour, find out what your machine's got, or take it easy and enjoy the awesome scenery.  For the hardened adrenaline junkies we offer a river crossing.

TANDEM PARAGLIDING
Tandem Paragliding is the solution – with an over-sized, specially designed tandem glider and two harnesses, the sport now invites all who wish to explore the skies and soar the mountain tops, but don’t want to learn to paraglide on their own.  "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."   All Paragliding equipment conforms with AFNOR, DHV & SHV international standards and is regularly checked before and after each flight.  Paragliding harnesses are fitted with impact protection and the pilots harness is equipped with a reserve parachute for emergencies.

Both pilot and passenger are required by SAHPA (South African Hang-gliding Paragliding Association.) to wear helmets.   The use of a full flying suit for cooler days and winter flying is an option.

KITEBOARDING
Experience the world’s fastest growing and most exciting adventure activity, Kiteboarding....It's a guaranteed adrenaline rush that will last. Absolute beginners will be taught the basics of Kite surfing.  Professional kite surfers will show you the way to handle the kite from the beach and then take you out into the water and give you individual training to make you confident in the water and prepare you for getting air high above the waves.   The kite surfing is usually done at Blouberg Dolphin Beach where the prevailing South Easter blows perfect winds to learn in.   Lessons are taught in 4 hour modules. We recommend 3 modules.

Module 1: Theory and kite set up, kite piloting, launching & landing.
Module 2: Advanced kite flying skills and body dragging
Module 3: Introduction to the board.

ABSEILING
An insane experience of adrenaline and achievement: a 112 meter controlled descent off Cape Town's magnificent Table Mountain.   Step off the top at 1000 meters above sea level and repel into pure oblivion and indulge in the world's highest commercial abseil surrounded with the privilege of awesome views and the deep blue Atlantic at your feet.  Walk or cableway to meet  at the top of this mind-blowing experience. No climbing experience is necessary to enjoy this humbling abseil.
HOT AIR BALLOONING
This amazing experience can be enjoyed in the Cape Winelands. After an early start, enjoy a hot drink as you watch the preparations and then lift off to experience breathtaking views as you glide effortlessly through the air. Once on land again, a champagne breakfast will follow at one the hotels in the area.
ROCK CLIMBING
The cliffs are big, wild, often remote - and still being discovered. And it's a climate for being out in. South Africa offers some of the best, and most diverse, rock climbing in the world.
HELICOPTER FLIPS
Experience the wonder of the Fairest Cape from above.

Full Peninsula Tour (+/- 60 mins)
From V&A Waterfront, fly along the beautiful beaches of the Cape Atlantic Coast, Clifton, Camps Bay and around the famous Cape Point. Return along the picturesque False Bay Coast and finish with stunning views of the top of Table Mountain and the City.

Two Oceans Tour (+/- 30 mins)

From the V&A Waterfront, fly along the beautiful Atlantic Coast, Clifton, Camps Bay and past the breathtaking Chapmans Peak. Cross over to the False Bay Coast and fly back via the scenic Southern Suburbs and the top of Table Mountain. Excellent value for money!

SHARK CAGE DIVING
An early morning drive out to Gansbaai, a quaint fishing village that is now known as "The Great White Capital of the World".   These shark excursions have been running for 8 years. The skipper has had many years experience with the Great White, thus ensuring a 96% sighting rate.  He is passionate about the Great White and will leave you with a wealth of knowledge about this incredible animal and will demystify the beast!

Non-divers can also enjoy viewing from the boat as this can at times be more spectacular than the sightings from the cage.  Snorkeling in the 6 man stainless steel cage is another option if you are not a qualified diver.

SUNRISE OR SUNSET SEA KAYAKING
Sea kayaking is about exploring the coast and experiencing marine life from a small, yet safe and stable craft.  Seeing the whiskers on a seal, hearing a dolphin blow, feeling your skin tingle when a whale surfaces close by is what sea kayaking is all about.

The most popular trip is from Mouille Point which offers relaxing paddling with spectacular views of Signal Hill, Lions Head and Table Mountain. There is always the chance that seals, penguins, dolphins and even the odd whale will visit you on route.  Half day and sunset Sea Kayaking trips can also be arranged.

SANDBOARDING
This is an addictive new adrenaline sport that is sweeping the globe. Actually Sandboarding is not that new, ancient really, people have been playing on the dunes since the pyramids were being built.  Here you will be taken to experience the largest dunes in the cape. Our expert guides will teach riders the proper technique ensuring safety and ease of learning. One day and even the most timid will understand the addiction of this radical sport.

With its roots coming from the pure board sports of Surfing and Snowboarding, Sandboarding offers the exhilaration of Surfing and the freestyle maneuvers of riding the snow, all in the heart of the African sun.  The best thing about Sandboarding is that it is easy to learn and accessible to the absolute beginner - so fear not, Adrenaline is just a slide away. We will take you to the idyllic sand dunes of Atlantis up the west coast of Cape Town, where you will be provided with all of the equipment, full instructions, lunch and refreshments.
TANDEM SKYDIVING
Tandem Skydiving is one of the most thrilling experiences in the world. Find out why Tandem Skydiving is hailed as the ultimate adrenaline sport.   Jumping out of a plane at 10 000 feet, and free falling for 25 – 30 seconds at 200km per hour will absolutely blow you away!    The sheer adrenaline rush of the free fall is combined with one of the most stunning aerial views of Cape Town, Table Mountain and Robben Island on a 4 - 5 minute parachute ride back to earth.

No experience is needed, the only criteria that must be adhered to is that jumpers must weigh under 105 kg. A personalized certificate and optional video will serve as a lasting memory of a unique experience.
