Day 1
Depart New York on South African Airways flight to Cape Town via Johannesburg.
Day 2
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by your personal Avis Car rental chauffeur and transferred to the City Lodge Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Accommodations in a Standard room for four nights inclusive of breakfast daily. This afternoon your Avis rental car will be delivered to the hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is yours to explore the glorious city of Cape Town. Sightseeing, shopping or strolling through the waterfront – the choice is yours!
Day 4
After breakfast, perhaps you will spend today enjoying one of the many optional tours that begin in Cape Town or discover some of this city’s historic sights on your own.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel. This is your last day in the magnificent city of Cape Town.
Day 6
Make your own way to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg allowing for time to return your rental car to Avis. In Johannesburg connect by air to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Kruger Park Safari Camp. Accommodations for two nights inclusive of dinner and breakfast daily as well as all game viewing activities. This afternoon you will depart on your first exciting open vehicle safari.
You will be thrilled by close encounters with Africa’s wildlife, from graceful antelope to giant bush elephant, as your experienced ranger imparts his knowledge of Africa’s wildlife.
Day 7
Breakfast is followed by a full day of game drives. The animals are most active early in the morning and late in the afternoon. We recommend that you enjoy an early morning safari, noon siesta and an afternoon safari. Return to the camp for dinner.
Day 8
After breakfast and one final game drive you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Johannesburg with onward connection back to the USA aboard South African Airways.
Day 9
