Day 1 Depart New York on South African Airways flight to Cape Town via Johannesburg.
Day 2 Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by your personal Avis Car rental chauffeur and transferred to the City Lodge Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Accommodations in a Standard room for four nights inclusive of breakfast daily. This afternoon your Avis rental car will be delivered to the hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is yours to explore the glorious city of Cape Town. Sightseeing, shopping or strolling through the waterfront the choice is yours!
Day 4 After breakfast, perhaps you will spend today enjoying one of the many optional tours that begin in Cape Town or discover some of this citys historic sights on your own.
Day 5 Breakfast at the hotel. This is your last day in the magnificent city of Cape Town.
Day 6 An early start this morning as you depart the hotel and make your way to Cape Town airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga via Johannesburg allowing time to return your Avis rental car. Upon arrival at Mpumalanga Airport proceed to the Avis counter to pick up your rental car. Make your way to Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp in the world-famous Kruger National Park. Accommodations in a bungalow for one night on a room only basis.
Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp is situated on the banks of the Matjulu Spruit with a view over softly undulating hills to the east. Special care has been taken to preserve the natural vegetation in the camp.
Day 7
At a time of your choosing, drive from Berg-en-Dal to Skukuza Rest Camp. Accommodations in a bungalow for two nights on a room only basis.
Skukuza Rest Camp is the largest rest camp in the Kruger Park, situated in the south on the banks of the Sabie River. Historical sites in the camp are the dogs cemetery, bell tower, old pontoon bridge, Selati Rail Museum and Campbell Hut Museum. Game is abundant in the area and drives along the surrounding roads are certain to give sightings of a wide variety of animals and birds.
Day 8 The day is free to enjoy the spectacular offerings of Skukuza Rest Camp.
Day 9 Drive from Skukuza Rest Camp to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight back to the USA aboard South African Airways allowing for time to return your rental car to AVIS.
Day 10 Arrive home.
