Day 1: (Sun) The Kingdom of the Zulu’s (L)
We leave the city of Durban and head up the coast towards the magical heart of the Zulu Kingdom. Our first stop is an authentic cultural village where dancers perform an ancient dance to the beating of African drums. Sample traditionally brewed Zulu beer and watch woman craft clay pots and intricate Zulu beadwork. After a hearty lunch, we proceed to the village
of St. Lucia checking in at your hotel.

Day 2: (Mon) The Kingdom of Swaziland (BLD)
The day begins with a motor launch cruise on magnificent Lake St. Lucia, a World Heritage Site and home to hippo, crocodile and several hundred bird species. We leave the soothing wilderness and head for the Kingdom of Swaziland, via northern Zululand, a landscape dotted with traditional Zulu homesteads. Inside Swaziland, we visit the Swazi Candle Factory, its shelves packed with ethnic candles of every hue, size and shape imaginable. We arrive at our hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3: (Tue) Kruger National Park (BD)
We visit the famous Ngwenya Glass Factory, to watch craftsmen fashion delightful animals and functional art from molten glass, then we continue on to Kruger National Park. We enter through the southern-most gate and head north through the vast reserve, reaching our camp in time for a traditional sundowner (own acc-ount) in the African bushveld.

Day 4: (Wed) Kruger National Park (B)
Set off before breakfast in open safari vehicles on a full-day safari in search of lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard, and all manner of wondrous wildlife, birds and plant species. Savour the magic of this enormous wilderness.

Day 5: (Thu) The Lowveld & Panorama Route (BD)
The day’s highlights include Pilgrim's Rest, the old mining village where gold was first
discovered; the glorious God's Window, a boundless view of forested mountains and fer-tile plains, and a visit to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, one of the natural wonders of Africa.

Day 6: (Fri) Pretoria & Johannesburg (BL)
We leave Pilgrim’s Rest by 07h00 and travel to the world famous Premier Diamond Mines, which produced Africa's biggest diamond. The Cullinan, from which the ‘Great Star of Africa’ was cut, to grace the scepter of the British Crown Jewels. After lunch we head for South Africa’s capital city Pretoria, before arriving in Johannesburg in the late afternoon. Drop-off at the airport or a central Sandton hotel.
