Many travellers have a misconcepcion that staying at a certain lodge/tented camp will mean better game viewing. Game viewing is a rhythem of Nature...no matter where the lodge is, no matter how high quality the lodge is, no one can absoultely guarantee that you will see everything in a 2 or 3 night stay.Of course, if one drivres around non stop maybe its possible. There are some places, possibly in Botswana ,and at certain times of the year, certain game species may be more prevelant. So what about the lodging...a Safari camp/lodge experience is really a personal budget, Trip Investmant decision....higher rated lodges offer greater comfort, ambiance, selection of food, privacy, better Interior decorations, personal touch, service,etc...it does not mean that a budget overland trip, or a moderate private safari lodge, is not as good. They have there own qualities. So when choosing the Safari package thats right for you, remember to choose within your budget, trip Investmant, and forget what the media tells you, your friends experience. Someone elses experience may not mean the same game when you are there, setting you up for dissapointment. You may not really like the decor, service...look at the options..there is a wide variety. In Southern Africa generally speaking, you cannot go wrong on Safari. I will help you, and togethere we can review the options, and make choices that work for your trip.
