Accommodation at Ocean View is characterised by light, airy double or twin rooms – most of which boast spectacular views of the sea. Spacious family units look out across the gardens. All rooms are comfortably furnished and have en-suite bathrooms.

Do as much, or as little as you like here. Adrenalin addicts will get their kicks abseiling down a sheer cliff face or enjoying a challenging guided quad bike excursion along tracks best suited to cattle and goats! If you prefer the pace a little more steady, guided 4 x 4 trips to places of local interest can also be arranged. Other popular leisure activities include fishing, diving and snorkelling. When you’ve had your fill of beachcombing, swimming, surfing, and boogie boarding - the sparkling pool in the hotel gardens is a refreshing alternative. If you’ve a yen to explore – nearby attractions include the famous rock formation at Hole-in-the-Wall, and Umdumbi beach – rated by “Getaway” Magazine as one of the best beaches in South Africa.

When you feel the need for some retail therapy – visit the craft shops in the area – starting with our very own Periwinkle Shop in the car park where you’ll find a little treasure trove of goods made by South African artists and crafters .
