The idea of Sage is primarily to provide a training facility like no other to our students through a restaurant that serves modern, simple and eclectic food. This goal is to provide the student's with knowledge suited for modern culinary trends.

The name SAGE means both the name of the pungent hardy herb and is French for: WISDOM ( ‘culinary wisdom') . As one of the top training establishments in the country, culinary wisdom is precisely what we are looking for.

SAGE, a modern, sixty-seater dining setting, is a fresh setting for a healthy lunch or just a quick espresso on the run, a romantic table for two or a party waiting to happen. The décor suits the name – fresh, green and herbaceous. Slate floors keep us feeling close to nature, the odd juxta-pose coloured wall invites interest, an area wanting positive vibes.

The table settings are ultra modern - white and chrome, with crockery and cutlery to match. The emotion comes from the simplicity of the setting, offering a clean and trouble free aesthetic appearance.

Right from the start, the idea of SAGE was to train students in an operational establishment, where they have time to spend learning a side of the business that normally rushes by in a large hotel. Attention to detail rules.

Breakfast is served each morning of the year, servicing both Westville hotel guests and walk-in trade. Breakfast comprises a cold buffet of modern twists and old favourites. The options of full English “build your own breakfast” and specialised breakfast dishes are available from the kitchen.

Lunch will be served daily; specials boards tempt guests to a feast of flavours. Lunch demonstrates how our fresh, crisp and clean setting influences our food. Salads bursting with flavour, platters of healthy taste sensations, fresh breads, homemade ice teas, and a daily specials board that ties into what the students have learnt in the morning.

Join us for an experience not to be forgotten!!!!!!
