Soweto Walking tour, incl. lunch

Enter Soweto through the affluent surburb of Diepkoof.

Proceed to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital where you ascend the foot bridge leading to the hospital and have a bird’s eye view of the sprawling township.

Proceed to the informal settlement where you mingle with this poor community which makes the most of what they have.

Then drive through to the Hector Peterson Museum after which walk to Vilakazi Street, home to 2 Nobel Peace Prize Winners where you will have lunch and visit Mr. Mandela’s former house.

Alternatively, after a visit to the Mandela Museum, we walk to Wandie’s for lunch.

All tours require a minimum of 2 people.
