OTHER DURBAN TOURS
INDIAN CULTURE
Hare Krishna Temple in Chatworth, the Temple of Understanding. Grey Street Mosque, the largest house of worship of the Muslim community in the Southern Hemisphere. Madressa Arcade. A saree shop. The Durban Cultural and Documentation Centre with exhibits of the history of the Indian population and cultural artifacts.

TOWNSHIP TOURS
Experience the varied lifestyles of the township of Kwa Mashu. Squatter camps, informal settlements, hostel dwellings. See the unique "spaza" shops and shebeens.

MIDLANDS MEANDER
Insight into the lifestyles and original products of the many artists and crafts-people in the scenic Natal Midlands. Browse through galleries and craft-shops. Visit weavers and potters, leatherworkers and woodcrafters. Sample home-made cheeses, herb teas, etc...

WILD COAST RESORT
Travel along the Hibiscus Coast with its exquisite views of unspoilt beaches, hidden valleys and tree filled gorges. Enjoy the sophisticated casino together with an abundance of leisure activities including water sports and golf at this most challenging and scenically beautiful course.

GOLF
Durban and the South Coast offer not only some of the best courses in the country (Durban Country Club, Selbourne, Southbroom and the Wild Coast) but also the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent beaches and coastal resorts. On the North Coast, Mount Edgecombe and the links-type course of Princes Grant are conveniently situated for visits to Zulu kraals, the famous game reserves in Zululand ( Hluhluwe-Umfolozi, Mkuze, Itala, Phinda) and historic battlefields.

BIRD WATCHING
Visit the Umgeni Estuary to enjoy clear sightings of migrant waders and waterbirds or take a stroll in the beautiful Botanic Gardens to add the local birds to your life-list. South of Durban, a visit to Umbogavango ensures a selection of coastal forest birds - perhaps the Narina Trogon or the Blue Cheeked Bee Eater in summer as well as a good selection of indigenous Ducks, Herons and Waders on the lakes. A short drive opens up the opportunity to add all the grassland and acacia thornveld species at Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve near Umzito, Shongweni Resource Reserve inland or Albert Falls Resort outside Pietermaritzburg. For the Zululand specials a visit to Bonamanzi and Mkuze Game Reserve is highly recommended. For the adventurous spirit, the breathtaking Sani Pass ascent will yield specials such as the Drakensberg Siskin, Ground Woodpeckers, the Orange Breasted Rockjumper and the majestic Bearded Vulture.

DEEP SEA FISHING AND CRUISING
The Indian Ocean off the Natal Coast offers excellent opportunities for game fishing or cruising. Fully equipped and professionally skipped boats are available.

SCUBA DIVING
The varied marine life (shark, turtle, ray, corals, etc..) at Aliwal Shoal on the Natal South Coast and Sodwana in Maputaland offer the scuba diver world class experiences.
