The Township Tour.
Discover how the squalor and deprivation of the Townships (suburbs) of this previously disadvantaged community is being transformed and provided with modern schools, clinics, electricity, clean water, live-able homes and sports facilities.
Their struggle against apartheid and their endeavors during these difficult years to uplift themselves through the establishment of community centers and informal trading initiatives like “spaza shops” and “shebeens”
Get an idea of what is being done about HIV and Aids through aids clinics, youth centers and counseling programs.

The Cape Care Route- a “Trail of two cities”
Showcases some of the projects on the Cape Flats where people are caring for the environment and for each other. Launched at the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development, this Trail Of Two Cities celebrates the partnerships that bring prosperity to both planet and people.

The Slave Experience.
Being the oldest, Cape Town is the only city in the country with a history of slavery. You will learn of the origins, history, and emancipation of the slaves, and their contribution to the economic and cultural growth of Cape Town. We visit the Castle of Good Hope,(slave dungeons,) the Slave lodge and Slave tree, The Bo-Kaap (Malay quarter-descendants of slaves) St. Steven’s Church(abolition) and the S.A .Mission Church, first church for freed slaves.
District Six and the Bo-Kaap.
On this in-depth, thought-provoking walk-drive tour, you will discover how the Apartheid policies of the previous white regime destroyed their homes and displaced 65,000 people from their community in District Six, a vibrant multi-racial area for more than a hundred years !!
Where are they now and how do they feel? What does the future hold? Why was the area left empty and neglected since it’s destruction twenty years ago?
We Visit the area of what was District Six,visit the Museum and proceed to the Bo-Kaap for a walk-about and visit to the Bo-Kaap Museum.
We end the tour with an optional visit to a local restaurant for typical Malay refreshments.
