Namibia, Okavango delta,Victoria Falls 7N

Windhoek • Bushmen Tribe (optional) • Scenic Flight over Okavango Delta • Nature walk and Mokoro Safari in Okavango Delta • River Cruise in Chobe National Park • Victoria Falls National Park Entrance TC NMD

Day 1 Bushmen Tribe
Leaving Windhoek behind us we head towards the Botswana border. Here we have the opportunity to interact with the local Bushmen community as well as other activities. Optional Activities: Bushman Walk.

Day 2 Botswana - Okavango Delta
We cross the border into Botswana and, after arriving in Maun, we board small planes that transport us over the Delta to our destination. The flight is both practical and scenic.

Day 3/4 Okavango Delta
During our time in the Delta we will go on a nature walk and a mokoro ride with the local people. A mokoro is a dug-out wooden canoe, but due to higher demand they are slowly being replaced with long lasting fibreglass mokoros. This is to preserve the remaing large native trees that were traditionally used. Spending time with the local Tswana people of the Okavango is an interesting and rewarding experience.

Day 5 Namibia – Caprivi National Park
We travel through the Caprivi National Park en route to our destination next to the Zambezi River. The Caprivi strip has an interesting history dating from colonial times. We spend the night relaxing next to this mighty river.

Day 6 Botswana – Kasane - Chobe National Park
This afternoon is spent on a boat cruise on the Chobe River watching the game come down to the riverbank to drink. Viewing game from a boat is one of the most successful ways to see the animals in their own environment. If you would like to have more game viewing in this remarkable National Park there is also an optional Game Drive that can be booked on site. Optional Activities: Chobe Game Drive.

Day 7 Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls
Arriving early at our final destination, we head off to visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and experience the thundering sound of the mighty Zambezi. Victoria Falls town is well set up for tourists but the natural beauty is the factor drawing people there. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks and is a great way to bring the tour to an end. Optional Activities: Zambezi Sunset Cruise.

Day 8 Victoria Falls
Although the tour ends today we recommend that you spend an additional day enjoying some of the many adventure activities on offer here. Most people will spend the day white water rafting, the Zambezi river is one of the best white water rafting experiences in the world. Optional Activities: White Water Rafting, Bungee Jump, Elephant Excursion.
