This itinerary is designed to start in Windhoek and end in Swakopmund (or the other way around). However, it can be changed to start and end in Windhoek at no extra cost.
All these tours can be changed to reflect the lodging of your choice, as well as the duration of the trip.
DAY 1 Mount Etjo Safari Lodge
Travel north to Okahandja and then on to the Mount Etjo situated in central Namibia. Mount Etjo is a private game reserve where a wide range of animals can be seen. Enjoy an afternoon game drive on an open safari vehicle.

DAY 2 After breakfast, travel north to Otjiwarongo and Otavi to arrive at the eastern Anderson gate of Etosha at about mid-day. The afternoon is set aside for a drive in the Namutoni area.

DAY 3 & 4 ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK These two days are set aside for game drives in this superb game reserve where animals are drawn to the waterholes, especially in the dry months (May – January). From Namutoni head west to Halali and Okaukuejo resorts, stopping to view plains game, as well as at the waterholes. All the resorts have floodlit waterholes with the best being Okaukuejo where the endangered black rhinos often come to drink in the evenings.

DAY 5 Okahandja Wood Carvers / After a morning game drive, head back to Windhoek, with a stop at the Okahandja wood carvers market. The safari will end in Windhoek early afternoon
