FULL DAY CITY TOUR DURATION – 7 HOURS tour code MF We start with the ascent of Table Mountain (weather permitting) allowing 2-hours for a walkabout & photographs then a drive up Signal Hill overlooking Table Bay and Robben Island. Then it’s down to the Castle, the oldest building in sub-Saharan Africa. From there: The Grand Parade and City Hall up Adderley Street turning into Green Market Square and on to the Company Gardens – Long Street with its Bohemian restaurants, antiques & old book shops. We will walk along the quaint cobblestone lanes and historic houses of the Bo-kaap. The District Six Museum, the Jewish Museum and numerous other museums and historic buildings beckon. A very special Cape Malay lunch can be organised in a private Bo-kaap house. A visit to Robben Island, the prison island, is an optional extra, again weather and time permitting. The Half Day City Tour lasting 4 to 5 hours is possible but necessitates omitting much of the above to be omitted.
