LOCATION

Selinda Camp is a luxury tented safari camp situated on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway - a waterway linking Botswana's Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps. The shaded camp offers splendid views over the Spillway & open floodplain savannah with its characteristic palm islands.

Selinda Camp is a comfortable tented safari camp situated on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway, a waterway linking Botswana's Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps. Situated along the Spillway is a private wildlife reserve where only a handful of guests can experience some of Africa's finest wildlife. The shaded camp has a splendid view over open floodplains dotted with palm islands.

 The Camp accommodates a maximum of just 12 persons.

• Nine double &/or twin luxury tents, One of which is a pilot/guide accommodation of guest quality (capacity 16 +2).
• Custom tents are large (35sqm/382sqft) & erected under cool thatch canopies with spacious verandahs & overhead fans.
• Full en-suite bathrooms with hot/cold showers, & stone baths as a central feature.

• Lighting is low current 220V AC (no hairdryers). Charging facilities for cameras etc. are available in each room.
• Fully inclusive refreshment facilities including premier estate wines.
• A small curio & gift shop is available (VISA, Mastercard, foreign & local currency).
• The plunge pool is ideal for those warm days.
• No camp is complete without the traditional campfire for evening tales & early morning coffee.
• Laundry is done daily FOC.
• All meals are table'd hôte - early morning light breakfast; late morning brunch; afternoon tea; three course dinner. Special diets are catered for on request.

                    
   
Activities include:
Early morning game drives aboard 4x4 Landcruisers, followed by an open-air "brunch". Afternoon game drives, with sundowners, that blend into a night drive with spotlights. Relaxation during the heat of the day is helped by the small swimming pool and sun deck.

Walking Safaris are also offered out of Selinda Camp.

A special area has been set aside in the Selinda Reserve especially for walking safaris. The area is located along the Selinda Spillway, a water course linking Botswana's Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps. The walks take you along time-worn trails, through riparian forest and open plains. Typically, guests undertaking walking safaris, commence their safari at Zibalianja, then break away onto the walk, which ends up three days later, at Zibalianja Camp for the last night. In total, this is usually a five day safari.
