A wonderful area of mainly open plains, with larger herds of grazing animals, river systems to boat on, as well as this is the area that one will be  most likely to find wild dogs, and the famous Lions  who attack hippos.

This safari runs all year, however its pretty quite from December to about May , depending on the rain fall

Our peak season coincides with the dry season from May to November when the game is most concentrated.

October is traditionally regarded as the best game viewing month - it's also the hottest.

March, April and November are best for birding enthusiasts

High season is from June  to Novembver inclusive and over the festive season depending on the camps.

Game is consistent year round; photographic opportunities are excellent especially at dawn and dusk.

The best birding in the green season is from mid October to April

This area is ideally combined with our Okavango,Savuti( depending on the season) and Chobe trips to make up a longer Botswana Safari. This safari is easily combined with Victoria Falls .

Access to the Selinda is by light aircraft - baggage allowances are restricted to 12kg in soft bags, special allowance for additional photographic equipment can be arranged in advance.

LOCATION
