Pom Pom is located in the heart of the Okavango in a private concession to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Pom Pom offers great Okavango scenery with boating, game drives, night drives, walks and mokoro safaris as the main activities on offer. This is a 12-bedded safari camp built and designed with great and roomy tents that are situated on the ground. The bathrooms are ensuite and have flush toilets and hot and cold running water. The camp overlooks a scenic lagoon and is built under a grove of shady trees. The dining room is under canvas and there is an outdoor area for open air meals. | | | | | | Botswana / Okavango Delta / Pom Pom Camp Tent bathroom |
2004 experienced the most incredible water levels... partially from rains falling locally and partially from the high levels of the annual flood that comes down from central Africa. This may affect the activities on offer. However for guests they saw the Okavango at its most beautiful for possibly thirty years. | | | | | | Botswana / Okavango Delta / Pom Pom Camp Tent interior |
