 Stephen the owner  of go2southafrica travels around Southern Africa so you can benefit from someone who walks the talk,and loves to hang out in the  bush, on Safari.

As well Stephens  Eastern Cape trip was featured as one of National Geogrpahics best Africa  trips, some years  ago.

More recently  2010 to be exact, Stephen was requested by a National Geographic appointed writer to design a South  Africa  tour, which I did, then guided the journalist through South  Africa.

This then formed the basis for  the  main story on South Africa, that was published in the National Geographic at the time of the  FIFA  World Cup.

As the  owner, creator, and one responsible for many of the punctuation errors, of this site, you  are ensured of receiving the full attention of someone who cares that  you  have a  full, memorable experience in South  Africa.

As I am in South Africa so much, I ensure that all goes well, and you will have a  network of support, for any type of emergency 24/7 at your disposal.

While I am in the  country, I travel around, seeking out new  possibilties, checking  in, seeing  whats new and available.

Stephen also owns Rogue Travel in Ashland, Oregon. Rogue Travel is a ARC certified agency, incorporated in Oregon, and has the neccessary licences  from the City of Ashland,as well as the ability to issue airline tickets( need to have a surety bond and be certified in order to do this)

 Stephen has established  a specialty in providing unique rural cultural/arts/craft experiences, and as such we support  sustainable tourism in those rural areas.

Our South Africa Cultural tours are tours that go to the Eastern Cape, where Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko was born, rural villages, traditions, people to people contact, local western style lodging.

We also offer Cultural tours to Venda, art, crafts, rural villages, local traditions,the UN world heritage site of Mapungupwe,close to Botswana Tuli block, and  close to the Kruger National Park..all privately guided.

In addition,we  only use  tour operators who are in South Africa, thereby helping to provide employment opportunities to locals.

In return we obtain local updates, insights, special rates, and unique packages.

As we cover all the areas of Southern Africa, we can be creative as we want to, as we are not set to any type of tour other than what you want.

We purposely do not have rates on our site as rates change with seasons, availability, contracts change, etc. We like to quote updated prices. Just ask us.
