I have been a South African Tourist Board FUNDI destination specialist from  the first program( its in its second incarnation at present) ...

I travel back at least once a year, sometimes twice a year to South Africa to keep updated, do educationals, attend a travel show, and of course to relax and enjoy the country.

The owner of this site, Stephen , also owns Rogue Travel in Ashland and Medford Oregon.

 Rogue Travel is a ARC certified agency, incorporated in Oregon, and has the neccessary licences  from the City of Ashland and Medford, as well as the ability to issue airline tickets( need to have a surety bond and be certified in order to do this)

                                          This site is dedicated to a wonderful country, a resilient people, and to sustainable tourism.

As such we use mostly tour operators who are in South Africa, thereby helping to provide employment opportunities to locals. In return we obtain local updates, insights, special rates, unique packages, and we know you will be taken care of. In times of emergency, you have some one local to help and guide you.

We purposely do not have rates on our site as rates change with seasons, availability, contracts change, etc. We like to quote updated prices. Just ask us.

South Africa Cultural tours are tours that go to the Eastern Cape, where Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko was born, rural villages, tradiitons, people to people contact, local western style lodging, and we offer Cultural tours to Venda, art, crafts, rural villages, traditions,close to Botswana Tuli block, close to the Kruger National Park..both privately guided.
